Level 1 is for Absolute Beginners. We will cover basic steps & turns, shines, leading & following skills, timing & musicality and variations of the turns to get creative.
This course is for new students who want to learn or master their fundamentals, steps & turns, footwork and ensure you are confident on the dance floor!
Level 2 is for those who have completed a minimum of two cycles of Level 1 and/or have a strong foundation of the Beginner Fundamentals in Salsa On2 style, known as New York Style.
We will dive deeper into the creativity of the turns and shine combinations while building on a strong foundation. Get ready to challenge yourself!
Level 2.5 is a step up for more experienced Salsa dancers.
Must have taken a minimum of 6 months in our Level 2 class
Students should have a solid foundation in Salsa, including a clear understanding of timing, lead and follow technique, various hand positions, and the ability to execute inside and outside turns smoothly.
We will dive deeper into more complex turn patterns using these tools all while adding a spin onto them to help you gain more confidence on the social dance floor!
Advanced Beginner Salsa – For Level 2.5 Graduates (minimum of 4 months in Level 2.5 plus assessment) Ready to level up your salsa skills? This class is the perfect next step after completing 4–6 months of Level 2.5. You’ll dive into more dynamic turn pattern variations, explore creative partnerwork tools, and start incorporating sharper styling and arm rotations to bring flair and control to your dancing.
Expect to be challenged in the best way—with fun, energizing combos that push your skills while keeping the joy of social dancing front and center. Let’s add some spice to your foundation and get you feeling more confident and expressive on the dance floor!
